Unemployment scholarship Scheme 2022
Unemployment Assistance is given to those who are waiting on the Live Registers of Employment Exchanges without a job for at least 5 years. The assistance is given for three years subject to eligibility conditions like family income should not be more than Rs.50,000/- per annum, the Registrants should not a bonafide student of any School / College, the Registrants should not employed in Government / Private or Self Employed, the Registrants should get a Consolidated Certificate from the Revenue Inspector in which the above conditions should be mentioned, the maximum age limit is 40 years for others and 45 years SC/ST, the Registrants registered with Employment Office for the continuous period of five years or more and the Registrants should be opened a Savings Bank Account with the Nationalised Banks. An amount of Rs.200/- for SSLC failed, Rs.300/- for SSLC passed, Rs.400/- for HSC passed and Rs.600/- for Graduates per month is paid to beneficiaries. The Beneficiaries to receive the assistance, should submit a self declaration certificate has to submitted at the start of second and third years.
The Unemployment Assistance was launched with a view to help the youth who have registered with the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre and waiting in the live register for five years or more to secure an employment.
The Government provides Unemployment Assistance for three years subject to eligibility conditions like age limit and income. The annual income criteria for eligibility is Rs.72,000/- per annum and maximum age limit is 40 years. Age limit is 45 years for the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. Unemployment assistance of Rs.200/- per month is given to SSLC failed, Rs.300/ for SSLC passed, Rs.400/- for HSC and Rs.600/- for Graduates. This amount is being credited to the beneficiaries account through ECS in every quarter.
As per Scheme, the eligible beneficiaries’ list prepared at every Quarter and submitted to the District Treasury / P.A.O Offices and the Assistance is sanctioned and disbursed through the beneficiaries’ Savings Accounts in Nationalised Banks.
