(xi) Railway Board’s letter No. PC-VII/201,7/R-U/37 dated 08/10/2018 addressed to General Manager, West Central Railway & letter dated 11/10/2018 to GS/NFIR.
Responding to NFIR’s representation vide dated 17/09/2018 relating to incorrect interpretation of Board’s instructions by the West Central Railway Administration, Railway Board vide letter dated 08/10/2018 communicated to the Federation that comments of West Central Railway relating to the case of 127 Sr.ALPs (GP 2400) of Kota Division who submitted timely option for fixation of pay on promotion to GP 4200 as Loco Pilot (Goods) have been sought for. Federation feels sad to state that though a period of three months has since passed, the incorrect decision taken by Kota Division of West Central Railway Administration has not been rectified so Far, with the result the Running Staff have been deprived of the benefit of option.
NFIR, therefore, once again urges upon the Railway Board to consider the valid points provided by the Federation through series of communications and issue suitable clarification to the General Manager, West Central Railway to implement the option exercised by 127 Loco Running Staff for switching over to 7th CPC Pay Level. Federation may please be kept advised of the progress made in the case.
Yours faithfully
